MY STORY

How did I get here?

SENSE OF CONNECTION

Since I was tiny, I’ve felt a deep connection with the natural world.

I’ve never lost the wonder at how I ended up on this planet, in this position, and born into a generation of humans at a critical time.

I want to use my skills and influence to protect our gorgeous planet, and shape a better world for our kids.

STARTUPS

My first leadership role at a purpose-led startup in 2014 was a baptism of fire.

I was second-in-command, and we scaled the organisation 4X in two years. I was keenly aware of my limitations, and I felt adrift in terms of my next steps. I wished I had a coach to help me navigate a path forwards.

I trained as a coach in 2017, started working in climate entrepreneurship in 2018 … and found my sweet spot. The rest is history!

SONS

In 2020 I was pregnant with our first child, whilst Australian wildfires raged on the other side of the world. I was devastated by the losses. This wasn’t the world he deserved to inherit.

Already working in climate by then, I felt even more resolve to try and make the future better. I re-committed my career to supporting even more climate leaders.

I now have two young boys, born 2020 and 2023. I want them to experience a planet that becomes restored and cared for in their lifetimes – and to know I’ve been a small part of turning the ship around.

I want my kids to feel proud of me.

PROFESSIONAL BIO

Megan Fraser (she/her) is a fully qualified professional coach (MA, PCC, CPCC), accredited by the International Coaching Federation.

She started her career in consulting, as second-in-command at a fast-paced Vancouver scale-up. It was a baptism of fire, and she became fascinated in leadership. This led her to train as a coach, to support other leaders, entrepreneurs, and founders.

Megan is a founding member of Climate Change Coaches, the world’s first climate coaching organisation. She’s also a longstanding coach with Climate-KIC, the EU’s main climate innovation body, and co-designed Scotland’s incubator for social innovation. She has run multiple leadership and innovation programmes, including for the climate researchers at the University of Edinburgh.

Megan trained with the top-tier Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), among others, and completed their highest-level training available (CPCC).

Megan specialises in coaching climate pioneers, leaders, and founders. She helps her clients build a legacy they’re proud of – and supports them to grow the mindsets and skill sets to take them there.

She has a global client base, having worked virtually with leaders, founders, and entrepreneurs on four continents to date.
